@martie: Thanks, Martie. This was taken about two weeks ago. Now everything is brown... so most of my photos will be drawn from my archives for the winter.
Nice find. Is this a working oil well or one that has been abandoned?

@Bob: As you may know, most of the easily recoverable oil has been pumped out of these old fields so these wells don't produce much... maybe five to twenty barrels a day. (At todays prices, who's complaining?) This is a working well.
As it is here in Alberta. Beautiful shot! Those colours are intensely gorgeous.

@Anna Marie: Thanks. Not a favorite of mine but is representative of my area.
Looks like a movie-still about a story in the thirties of the 20-th century. BE-AU-TY-FUL!! It could be a creapy spot with crime and murder, or a place for lovers to hide themselves. You see, it hits my imagination.
