Through A Foggy Lens 2Posted by Earnest (Oklahoma, United States) on 29 November 2007 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. A beautiful wildflower with an ugly name, spiderwort. The sap is clear and sticky, exactly like that of aloe. It was once thought to be useful on spider bites, thus the name. Blooms around here from very early spring throughout the area and in moist sheltered areas until winter. The color is exaggerated because of my cranking down the gamma to get rid of the haze from a foggy lens.. I hope you enjoyed the viewing... Have a great day!
