Momma's Got A Lot Of Arms

While moving some wildflowers to my "yard" I uncovered this lovely lady and her brood... Unfortunately her head is hidden in the dirt... and I certainly wasn't going to try to turn her around.. She had already dropped a couple of babies...but they crawled back to her protecting arms. I covered them up and left them to their lives... To us they may seem alien and yucky but they devour insect pests.
