Goat's Rue

The roots of this plant (a legume) were once used by native Americans to obtain fish. The roots were crushed in the water and the fish would rise to the top. Besides being a stunning plant, covered with silvery foliage, it produces these unusual pink and yellow-green flowers that are actually beautiful.
