Don't know how it got its name but I can't say it isn't deserving. This "weed" has some very pretty flowers that are at most one centimeter across.
A pretty flower. I like the pollen speckles on the petals.

@Aayawa: It is an unusual looking plant that I'm surprised hasn't been "improved" by man. The toothed leaves encircle the plant and it rises straight up, often without branches.
