This "weed" is the bane of many lawns in the early spring though it dies quickly in hot weather. It is also known as dead-nettle and has many purple flowers. One usually doesn't see one this close and I thought it might be interesting, not to mention somewhat pretty.
This is excellent. It looks like a fearsome face. wonderful color and detail.

It's amazing to me that "weeds" can have such beautiful flowers, and are still considered "weeds". Very nice shot!
