If you are lucky enough you might find these tiny, truly blue, flowers in your lawn in early spring. They are easily overlooked unless you happen to spot the blue color. When viewed "large," the tiny blue spot by my watermark illustrates the approximate actual size.
Lovely. I especially like the dark blue veins.

They look like the flowers on African violets. Your shot here really shows off their beauty…almost translucent, and your comment about their size…I never would have guessed they were that small given the beautiful quality of your image. Thanks for the horticulture lesson…I appreciate it!
