The dewberry, a trailing form of blackberry, blooms early and fruits early as well. We are blessed with lots of them and in a month or so I'll be out in the forest with a bucket filling it in anticipation of fresh pies and cobblers! Yeah, I'll have a few with ice cream as well... About a month later the blackberries will be ripening... ha,ha, -- all free. Have you priced them at the store lately?
A lovely fragile flower with such great detail. the light is so gentle. Excellent work.
