A railroad track not far from my home. I took some liberties with filters on this one and named it after one of my favorite science fiction short stories...
"That Hell-Bound Train" is a fantasy short story by Robert Bloch from 1958 that won the Hugo Award in 1959. - wikipedia
Lest I forget, this is also in memory of Arthur C. Clarke, Science Fiction Visionary.
The truth is that several people lost their lives near this spot as it is only yards away from a notoriously dangerous railroad crossing, may their souls have found rest...
it looks like the tracks go on forever... especially if you crop out the sky... with the sky you get that beautiful pink effect. Nicely composed

This successfully breaks some of the rules of composition. Great job, great colors.

I see what you mean, it works well, you must be a hell raiser

@Peter Miller: Too old to raise hell now... after having raised it a good deal I'm now trying to put it back.

A very impressive shot carefully composed, and the sky looks ominous. I don't care for the destination, I'll pass.

great focus and composition, I like how the tracks just take one's eyes and lead them away into the distance and great looking sky!

@Lilly: If you like science fiction you might like it... (It's more science fiction fantasy than hard science fiction though.)
