After finally negotiating the tree falls on the old abandoned highway I came to the lake to find this scene. It was more than a little creepy, and could have come out of a Stephen King novel.
It looks very lonely place... which of course adds to the atmosphere of you photo. Which is very good.

Very creepy, but a very cool shot, nonetheless. The gray sky really makes the reflections pop. A great evocative image, Earnest!

@Ron: Thanks, Ron. Truthfully, I was hoping to come upon a beautiful idyllic scene... but it has a beauty of its own I guess.
How about pronouncing this as "beautifully creepy"? I would give that my vot.... :-) P.S.: I'll be away for two weeks, but our blog will continue!

The tree in the middle left looks like a women arabesque. Nice composition!

@vu@granby Gilles M.: Yes, you're right, it does resemble that... thanks.

We often find a situation that reminds us of a Stephen King moment . . he has that effect on us all! Sure looks spooky.
