Golden corydalis, Scrambled eggs.. An early flower blooming simultaneously with the blue-eyed Mary. I found this flower very hard to capture well using the macro setting... It appears that the high-speed setting on this camera causes some noise.
very nice shot , vivid colors & as you said , it has noise anyway, good captured :)

Nice shot... the noise seems to compliment the flower, makes it pop.

I like the title... :) I imagine it is difficult Earnest, but you've made a good job of it.

Your flowers sure have wonderful names Earnest. This is georgous, so bright and fresh. I bet the two flowers compliment each other beautifully.

The noise gives it a painterly effect that's quite wonderful. Beautiful, Earnest!

There is a lot of noise, as you noted, but it created an interesting painting-like effect. Unfortunately, in this day and age of photoshop, it looks processed instead of creatively shot. I do like it though!

A striking yellow and I am always amused by the regional names for common flowers . .

@Ronnie 2¢: I agree... I didn't like the common name. Besides that, where's the bacon?
