This is Spotted Blue-eyed grass and blooms concurrently with the other variations I've previously posted. There is just a small grouping of this in my wildflower haunts and I thought I'd miss it this year. It is less colorful and much smaller flowered than usual, possibly due to a cool spring and lots of water. ..and in response to comments about the previous photos of this wildflower, the flowers are actually this lustrous.

Another brilliant shot! Sharp detail. Spider creeps me out, but fear aside, superbly realistic. I want to pick the flower (without the spider on it). : ]
