From the archive again, this little elm tree seemed to be magical.
Looks like a picture from a story book. Just beautiful. Love the blues.

Reminds me of an ice storm we had this winter. Good capture! Is is already so hot down there in Oklahoma that you are thinking of the cool of winter?

@Anita: Actually it has been uncomfortably cool here (to me) this spring. Sometimes I get lazy and pull a photo out of my old ones to post.... OK, I'll put it this way... sometimes I'm not lazy... I suppose that's more accurate.
Indeed it does seam magical or strait out a fairy movie...

I think Anita said it best, I'm not ready for ice and snow yet, not even in pictures, unless it's a sunny day at very high altitude...

@vu@granby - Wolfgang: I certainly understand, and it's pretty much the way I still feel after spending a number of years in the Rockies of Wyoming.... a long time ago. I can still appreciate the scene though.
Snow does carry a touch of magic, at times and transformation takes place so swiftly.

Thank goodness I caught that this was from your archives and not a recent shot. BBrrrr! The elm tree seems to be layered in equal parts throughout its spread.

@Steven: It's been cool but not THAT cool!
This is absolutly delightful. A fairytale shot!

Beautiful Earnest, I love the icy blue colour, it looks like it's from the film Chronicles of Narnia.
