My Morning Cup of Joe

I take this little cup for granted as it's just among others from which I sip morning coffee but it is actually a piece of U.S. Business history. As a computer engineer I worked frequently at that infamous Enron building in Houston, Texas, as Enron was a customer. There were great people who worked there blissfully unaware of the accounting and financial indiscretions that were taking place in the upper realms of the company. Fortunately the Systems Administrator who handed me this cup left Enron before the big crash and I hope that he had secured his retirement funds before that happened. Maybe I should put this cup up and preserve it rather than drink coffee from it.
