A perfectly good creek lay not far from this muddy hole in an old road but here there were thousands of tadpoles. This is a few of them. This shallow spot was the only place to get a reasonably good photo.
Interesting shot. You can't make out that there is any water there at all. Great work.

Tadpoles....!! what lad dosent know about these, along with newts, frogs, and frogspawn. Good clear image Ernie... !

I've never lost my childhood fascination with these . . memories of carrying some home in a jam jar . . life was so simple back then!
