We often use the generic term bug for any insects, spiders, etc. entomologists use the term bug specifically. The insect pictured is a true bug. Homely isn't he?

In the immortal words of Rod Serling, "Consider, if you will..."
1. If there isn't any pixelllation, then it isn't overcropped.
2. If it is flying in my face/buzzing around my head/crawling on my skin, AND, it goes crunch/pop/squish when I smash it, then it is a true bug!
