Solitary Wasp on Mountain MintPosted by Earnest (Oklahoma, United States) on 9 July 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. Feeding on the flowers of Narrow Leaf Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum tenuifolium). The plant's foliage is very minty and has a fantastic aroma.. Apparently it has medicinal uses as well as flavoring uses.... I hope you enjoyed the viewing... Have a great day!
