@Betty: I agree and have photos of some that have really been through a lot... even a swallowtail with a big hole in his wing... still going and feeding. I hope that I manage to be the same way in the future... still going, still seeking the sweet nectar of life...

The colors and detail are wonderful. I was looking earlier at a butterfly in my garden, and was surprised how that little paper winged thing could fly into a strong gusty wind.
