Color Coordinated Lady

I wouldn't want to meet her in the dark. I found this spider resting on a plant of similar coloration, the partridge pea. The green "buck teeth" are hiding some sharp and poisonous fangs at the very tips.

Absolutely fantastic macro, Earnest. I think this is your best macro yet.

Things are slowly getting back to normal; no power yet for me, but gas lines are short, and grocery stores are back up and running, so no food shortages or long lines in my area. Have you heard from your boys yet? I hope they came out ok through all of this. Let me know if I can be of any help to them.

@Eric Fry: Thanks, Eric... They did just fine aside from a little water damage through a roof. I was down there for three days just returning yesterday. Glad you made it through OK. There were spot shortages of some things and lots of infrastructure damage but the Texans who made me feel so at home for so long have gone about picking up and carrying on without a whimper... as I knew they would. (It's quite OK if they whimper about loosing in football.)

@Bill Ault: I was as startled as you when I viewed the photo on my computer. The lighting was diffuse from an overcast sky.
