Candace from Phoenix, AZ, United StatesThat must have been some sight to see that bush will all different colors of butterflies on it. Beautiful! 30 Jul 2009 1:16am Bookfool from Mississippi, United StatesGorgeous. I don't know that I've ever seen that kind of bush. I wonder if we have them, here. 30 Jul 2009 1:45am @Bookfool: According to the Department of Agriculture you do! Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesAnother perfect composition with a great choice for DoF. Beautiful markings on its wings that you capture perfectly. Since you don't have the EXIF info, do you mind if I ask how close or far you were from your subject? 30 Jul 2009 2:00am @Steven: I decided not to post EXIF data because after processing, it is often meaningless. I use two lenses, a SIGMA 70-300mm that I sometimes like and sometimes hate as my mastery of it is questionable, and a NIKON 18-55mm. For this photo I believe that I was using the 18-55mm and was about six feet away. I used both on this shoot on consecutive days. The 18-55mm allows much more creative freedom when the creatures are approachable... sort of. Vachel from Kota Kinabalu, Malaysiabeautiful macro shot and great details.. it's colour really look like the tiger's.. 30 Jul 2009 3:05am @Marion: Thanks, Marion. |
