Catching the moth and the falling petals...fantastic! 17 Aug 2009 10:09am @Eric Fry: Thanks, Eric. I have to confess that when I first viewed this off my camera it was astonished at catching the falling florets but on looking at the second and other frames I noticed that the florets seemed to be suspended -- on close inspection I discovered that they were stuck in a very fine spider web. The whole thing was set up for me by mother nature! Elora from Genoa, Italyah these hawkmoths are very difficult to photograph! well done!!! 17 Aug 2009 12:27pm Bookfool from Mississippi, United StatesGoodness. You weren't kidding when you said that button bush was covered with life. This one's really great because of that glow behind him, the wing movement and those falling petals. Wow! 17 Aug 2009 2:17pm @Bookfool: Thanks but see my confession to Eric about those falling petals....
