This dragonfly is another awesome capture . Tell me please, did you change its colors or this one really exist like that ? Stupid question, I know , but I am really curious :))

@MARIANA: This one actually has these colors... another photo of one like it comes up day after tomorrow from a bit further away. I saw this one backlit by the sun and it was spectacular but I didn't manage to be quick enough to get a shot of the fully glowing wings.
How many different dragonflies do you have there??? This is looking a little bit odd, because of those white wings.

@Marilla: Many more different types than I manage to present here... some are uncooperative and never land and some are hard to focus upon because of their coloration and size. One in particular is a very small golden colored one that I've never managed to catch in a situation good enough to present.
Good evening, Earnest,
the dragonfly with its beauty surpasses all the others that you imagined until now. I love this beautiful combination of colors on the wings. I admire all of your shots. They are all masterpieces, which I very much appreciated. Dear greetings Christel
wonderful dragonfly!
This is amazing!
do you live near a river?
:)

@Ricardo: Actually it has been a relatively wet summer and the creeks and ponds are productive. I do live near a lake but not very near and yes, I'm maybe three miles or less away from the Cimarron River. Many dragonflies really don't care though and can be found ranging far away from water.
