My Pot of Gold at the End of the Abandoned Highway

Posted by Earnest (Oklahoma, United States) on 14 April 2010 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

At the end of the abandoned highway where it turned once again into barely a path for animals I found my pot of gold. I had only ever seen one or two violet blooms in the nearby forests and here I found hundreds! It made the long and lonesome journey worthwhile.....

I appreciate comments and visits but have discovered that replying sometimes takes great amounts of time so please forgive me if I don't answer your comments. I will very likely visit your page though....

I forgot to ask what camera and lens do you use?

14 Apr 2010 3:07pm

@Marion: I'm using a D60 with a Sigma 70-300 mm DG that I'm still hit and miss with... it really needs a steady tripod and not my shaking hands....

Good evening, Earnest,
There are beautiful flower. Some people see the violets not because they are too small and grow in places that no one suspected. You have the right angle for seeing the violets. I discovered by chance, last week, even violet. They grow wild in my area. They multiply and spread everywhere. I like your presentation. The colors are clear and brilliant. For that I give you 5 stars ***** I wish you a pleasant evening and all the best. I look forward to your next pictures.
Dear greetings Christel
